M&E Experience in CCI Capacity Building

Empowering the Creative Economy through Data

RuramaiAFRICA is a trusted partner in ensuring that Capacity Building initiatives within the Cultural and Creative Industries (CCIs) translate directly into sustainable careers and economic growth.

We provide specialized Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) to rigorously track the effectiveness of training, mentorship, and skills development programs. Our work verifies that raw talent is transformed into employable skill and that investments lead to measurable industry growth

Performing Arts Business and Digital Distribution Project (PABDD) - 2023

We participated in the development of the PABDD project and served as the M&E Consultant for the initiative, which was implemented by Chenhaka Trust and supported by the Sound Connects Fund and Music in Africa Foundation. The project aimed to accelerate development, enhance digital and management skills, and standardize salaries and performance fees in the dance sector in Zimbabwe.

Arts Management and Business Project (AMAB) - 2022

We participated in the development of the AMAB proposal and served as the M&E Consultant for a 15-day capacity-building project implemented by Chenhaka Trust, supported by Music In Africa Live. This project aimed to develop critical skills for arts practitioners to navigate industry challenges, particularly those introduced by the COVID-19 pandemic. We trained Dapurahunanzva Dance ensemble and it scooped the first price at the Chibuku Neshamwari traditional Dance festival. It also came out third in 2024.
